if anyone has any interest in the possibility of their being a "different meaning"to the paintinf the Last Supper, I would reccommend reading "The Da Vinci Code" by the same author who wrote the book "angels and demons" (forgot the name). While the da vinci code is not specifically about the last supper, it does releinquish some rather interesting facts,F-A-C-T-S, and ideas about the painting, including the mysterious hand that appears to belong to no one at the table. Reading that book will definetly surprise you about Da vincis work, and plus, the book's really good (NY #1 best seller) so it wonbt be a waste of time. For now, I can tell you a little about what was in the book. Da vinci supposedly painted Mary Magdelene in the painting at jesus's right hand, but even for those who dont believe that the person is Mary or not, consider this, in the original painting, Jesus wears a blue robe with a red over...um, thingy (shawl?) and the person at his right hand wore a red robe and blue...thingy....the opposite. Da vinci was a person famed for incorporating duality and balance in his paintings due to his love of the divine feminine (read the book, it explains it aLOT better) anyways, after being "retouched" or as i like to belive "repainted' suddenly that person at His right is wearing different colored clothing than originally painted in an attempt to slash down any rumors that the person was mary, anywaysm its complicated, read the book, youlll love it.
