Somebody! I trust Clifton Fadiman's (The Lifetime Reading Plan)recommendation that The Education is a Great Book. Fadiman has not let me down yet. But the first 11 chapters of the Education is, well, boring! Is it going to get better? Can someone offer words of encouragement? So far, save for an isolated minor gem, this is a boring account of a few incidents in Henry's life into his twenties. Eleven chapters, no less. Somebody, please. I don't want to put it down, but I don't want to pick it up, either!
