I just read the book and saw the movie 'Mansfield Park', but there is still one thing that I don't understand. If Edmund's mother and Fanny's mother are sisters, wouldn't that make Fanny and Edmund cousins? I'm just starting to learn about British Lit. in my 12th grade honors English class. So please be patient.
